Cherokee Nation has signed into law the Cherokee Nation Claremore Outpatient and Emergency Health Center Act of 2025, which authorizes $255.5 million to construct a new Claremore health facility. This plan includes $11 million in upgrades to the current facility so that CNHS can bring our standard of high-quality care to Claremore patients. Yes, Cherokee Nation Health Services does provide transportation services for patients at its health centers. Transportation is reserved for clients with the greatest need on a first-come, first-served basis. Patients must reside within the Cherokee Nation Reservation.

No, Cherokee Nation does not provide mileage reimbursement. There are specific situations where the Tribal Emergency Assistance program can assist with emergency needs.
