  • What I enjoy most about our residency program
  • I greatly enjoy being the Program Director for our residency program. I have a passion for teaching, both in the academic and clinical settings, and being Program Director provides me opportunities for both. Helping residents progress through the program and grow into full-fledged attending physicians has been my favorite part of my medical career.

  • What I enjoy most about our residency program
  • I enjoy working with the Family Medicine Residency program due to the enthusiasm of attending physicians, nursing staff, and administration to provide a well-rounded education. It's also nice to be in a system where medications are provided at no cost (on our formulary) and no co-pay for visits. The Cherokee Nation has a passion for the health of its citizens. It is also nice to have the med school located on the same campus to utilize all of their facilities and support.
